If you followed us from our first ever Tuesday Tales with DREAM post back in September, then you know other than organising the Stock Up! Christmas Market, we were also very excited to design our very first window display for DREAM this festive season. Did you see it while you were there?
Against a white canvas (of course), we decided to let the unexpected pale blue take center stage, with hints of red and green Christmas colours and a whole lot more thrown in. Festive, but not in the face! Many of the props and designs were handmade by the Bloesem Team with help from our lovely friend Anouk van der El of Make History.. Yes, even the coloured tissue paper were cut into strips ourselves! Handmade is just the way we like it, and we're so pleased with the final results. Check out the before and after pictures below!
Looking back, these 3 months working hard together with DREAM definitely zoomed past.. Still have trouble wrapping our heads around the fact that Christmas is this Friday. 2016 is going to be an exciting year indeed, especially for DREAM who is turning the big 1-0! Now carrying a huge variety of exquisite, contemporary designer pieces from emerging brands, they have come a long way.. But one thing remains, the team sure know how to have fun while working incredibly hard!
Go over and show them some birthday love!

How did you guys enjoy the Stock Up! Christmas Market? We had such a great time over that weekend, it took us a couple of days to recover from the dizzying excitement..
If you were spoilt for choice, presented with the array of amazing finds and products by our wonderful vendors.. well, that was our plan all along! From kidswear to framed artwork and even self-watering plant kits.. we hope you managed to tick multiple things off your Christmas shopping list. Did you also stop by Yi Lian Ng's for a gorgeous wreath on your way out? While you were filling your shopping bags, we hope you also filled your tummies with the delicious treats which were freshly prepared by the vendors each day. If you ask us.. well, it's fair to say that we stuffed ourselves silly on the job. The whiff of melted cheese filling the air from even booths away was too hard to resist, don't you agree..
In between sneaking bites, we had such a nice time catching up with fellow creatives, makers, and designers, and definitely meeting some of you lovely people.. Extremely heartwarming to see familiar faces from our Tiong Bahru days :) We certainly do miss having a physical shop!
Witnessing the hard work of both DREAM and the Bloesem team come to fruition after weeks of brainstorming and organising and seeing all the smiles and high spirits at the event despite the rain, is truly rewarding. Thanks to our incredible vendors, who worked hard preparing and setting up for the event, for making this Christmas Market a reality.. big hugs!
Shoppers were lucky enough to get first dibs on the newly launched Treasure Tins by Make History!
Sarah's loft filled our tummies with some amazing cakes.. it's no surprise they completely sold out on Friday and had to whip up a whole new batch for Saturday.
Of course we called our favourite local singer, Hidhir, to serenade the crowd with his usual heartmelting music and some Christmas tunes!

Before you go off and think I made a huge splurge on these furniture pieces, these beautiful accessories are just on loan from our friends at DREAM.. just to play dress up with. Their collection will blow your mind and also transform your home.. I borrowed some of my favourite pieces to style in my living room and now it's become a big problem.. I can't seem to let them go!
But on a serious note.. with the upcoming Stock Up! Christmas Market we will be organizing in collaboration with DREAM (more on that this week and on the Event page) you will be able to enjoy up to 70% off selected pieces from their collection.
