Rik, the boys and I are currently in Amsterdam in our own Apartment. We used to rent it out but seriously considering keeping it as a pied-a-terre ... when you are away from your home country for such a long time it is such a comfortable and nice feel to know there is a small place waiting for you when you come home ... aba is probably the best sites to give an impression of how gorgeous pied-à-terre can be ...

Some things I likes last week ...

I am loving the green in bamboo on this salmon wall ...

Hopefully you didn't notice anything ... but I was travelling last week ... my two boys and I came to the Netherlands to spend our summer vacation here ... well summer feels more like autumn, hopefully the sun will show his face soon :) ... but  ... it's no biggie

First I am spending some time with my parents in the country side but most of my time I will be in Amsterdam ... and I am planning to feature many things to do, nice places and design interesting places with you here on Bloesem. The Bloesem Wear shop will be open throughout the entire summer and in case you didn't know I am hosting a giveaway over at BKids this week ... not too late for you to leave a comment and have a change to win.

Except for the hazardous haze here in Singapore it has been a very good week for me and Bloesem. 

Opening the shop with my new collection necklaces ... Bloesem Wear ... awesome reviews here, here and here and the icing on the cake was of course the Beast Best Award!

What are your plans for the weekend .. we will be watching a lot of movies as we are not allowed to go outside due to the haze and I will start packing our suitcases ... almost ready to go  to my home country... Amsterdam here we come!

Time for another weekend... a bit of an exciting one for me, becasue I will be packing our suitcases ... next week we will fly home to our family to spend a long summer in Europe ... you can't believe how happy I am, I miss my family, my friends and I miss living in Europe! 

But I will be back next week with amazing posts. We start on Monday with a beautiful new face-to-face: a designer's profile with Dutch design duo Made by rENs and the rest of the week will be jam-packed with ... how do I know  this well I prepared all the posts :)
