How was everyone's long Christmas weekend? No Monday blues for us over here.. The holiday spirit is still alive with all the leftover festive decor in the studio! Today, we're all over NOORTJE's first home accessories collection of cotton and linen textiles, which just launched a couple of days ago.. We think they pretty much got it right the first time! Her simple and clean designs, which are completely screen printed by hand, give the throws, blankets and cushions a soothing and positive vibe - perfect for unwinding. She also designed a couple of elegant brass ornaments for the holiday season, but don't let that stop you from getting them now.. Feel free to use them all year round! They double as fancy coasters or even some extra decoration for your favourite house plants..

While we all enjoy quirky patterns and bold prints, the plain monochromatic designs of gorgeous homeware brand Zakkia will always make our inner minimalists rejoice. How can one go wrong with the simplest of colour schemes? Distinctly Scandinavian with a dash of raw, coastal vibe influenced by the Bondi seaside, Zakkia's handmade homeware are interesting by itself, but will also complement and easily fit into your stylish space.

Winter doesn't always have to mean dull colours! Brighten up your homes all year round with these cushions from Soetwaer, a creative studio run by fellow Dutch Nicola Kloosterman. Using textile printing, the colours of her refreshing and light designs are lovingly hand mixed with each new batch, so they are slightly different from one another. Definitely adds to the character don't you think?

You may have seen some of Jessica Nielsen's beautiful work on Bloesem over the last few years.. she even designed a free Christmas gift wrap that we shared last year (download it!). We love her contemporary designs that are timeless and we are still very much in love with the Christmas wrapping paper which we have used throughout this year's Bloesem Gift Guide.
We have already added quite a few items from Jessica's store to our Christmas wishlist.. so many pencil cases, totes and notebooks that will be the perfect motivation for a new year of note-taking, school-going and organization! Her cushions and cards are equally divine!
We want to say a BIG thank you to Jessica for her gorgeous illustrations in the Bloesem Gift Guide!

Inspired by designs of the past, Ontwerpduo went back in time with their latest collection, Novecento. Pulling 10 items out from the early 20th century to give them an updated look that everyone of today would appreciate. Other than their exquisite forms and sleek lines, the collection features the prettiest palette of warm and timeless colours, ochre, pink and creamy white.
