While writing this post this morning about Famille Summerbelle's new collection the Performers ... I discovered that founder and paper cut artist Julie Marabelle collaborated with fashion icon and designer Issey Miyake from Japan for their Pleats Please range.
The items of the WORLD MAP series from Famille Summerbelle are used as printes for a whole range of clothes and home accessoiries. Isn't that very impressive! according to Issey Miyake the world map series vividly express that all aspects of the world, such as people, animals, plants, nature, and buildings, live together on this earth.

And in the image above is the original and beautiful paper cut World Map framed ...
available here.

Absolutely worth waiting for ... the new collection by Dutch design studio Tas-ka.
Twilight, shade, dawn! ... are the six new prints screenprinted on high-quality cotton, all fabricated in The Netherlands.
The ladies from tas-ka are bgining the sensation of 'Schemer, lommer, dageraad' (dutch for Twilight, shade, dawn!) which is the elusiveness of what happens in the early morning and evening, with the clear colours of the rising- and setting sun and the darkness of the night.
And the new collection is now available in their webshop.

Esme Winter (yes, that is a real name - gorgeous!) is the London based designer behind these lovelies above. Though I find her style to be more contemporary than I usually go for - the bright, and then often muted colors she uses agrees with me! You can learn more about her notebooks here, and wrapping paper here. And these are the shops that stock her products.

Another shop that is using a textile background, and bringing a more contemporary twist to paper, but this time in origami form, is Birdtoldme. Britta Manger is the bird, who is behind all the designs and creations at her shop. I've never been crazy about origami, but this way, I really like it. - Tiffany King

Dutch Textile designer Mae Engelgeer launched her new WOWW collection last week. After her successful previous collections Fest and Muse it is wonderful to see how this talented stylist has come up with again a very beautiful new line.
Graphics, bold colors and festive patterns are Mae's signature and I'm glad we can see it back in WOWW. At the moment only WOWW samples are ready but soon the will be available in different shops around the world. I will certainly keep you posted. Would you like to become a stockist of Mae Engelgeer then please send her an email ~ irene

{Seaside and Flora pillows by Dermond Peterson}
Via “hoping for happy accidents” vond ik Dermond Peterson Design.

{By Fribert. Clean and crisp designs by Kirsten from Denmark}
Sia van Siagrafica vertelde me laatst over By Fribert.
