Taking great photos
Taking good photographs is way more than just having a fancy camera.. sometimes people forget that. You need to have that special talent of being able to capture a scene, frame it and shoot it and bring across an emotion through your photography. Understanding your subject and your camera are two big parts of getting a great shot (oh, don't forget styling, it's crucial!).
Earlier this year while Jennifer Young was in Singapore, she taught a Bloesem master class on understanding your DSLR. An introduction to everything you need to know about your camera and the rules to photography.. Since then, we've definitely been practising our skills (hopefully we're improving) but it got us thinking about Jennifer's photography again. It's the kind of images that gives you the feels, if you know what we mean.. and tells a story. Well, "a picture speaks a thousand words" definitely encapsulates Jennifer's photography..
She shoots lifestyle, portraits, food, travel.. we're blown away.
