It's incredible - the number and types of things you can print in this day and age, it's possibly infinite. The days of just printing something on paper are long gone. Now anything can be printed with 3d printing. Intrigued by quality of materials and surfaces, Plott projects like One Yarn of Paint explore the printing of materials that have the characteristics of textiles, making them technically "carpets". Inspired by the way a weaving loom works, their custom computer prints a pattern on the floor that eventually comes together as a piece that can be used as a carpet.

The combinations of colours, patterns and textures is truly amazing. Truly nothing is impossible anymore, we've just got to go out there and make things happen.
