Next week this lady will be having a solo exhibition in the Temporium, (along Dunlop Street). Titled "Alone in the Universe", it's a must see if you are lucky enough to be in Singapore during that week. Rebecca Toh is the same lovely photographer who took the beautiful shots of the Bloesem Creative Space last week. It will be going on from the 28th of February till the 8th of March. It will also be your last chance to visit the Temporium as the pop-up store will be closing it's doors as well.
If you loved the photos she took of our space, you are going to love her other work. They all have that same quality we can't quite name or put our finger on but we know what we like and we definitely love her work.

I have a bad habit. The first thing I do when I open my eyes is reach around for my phone then, you guessed it, have a look at my instagram feed. It's really a great way to start the day, having the first things your eyes see be beautiful pictures taken by your instagram friends. This morning I was greeted with Tana's beautiful feed. (perfectly timed with my sudden obsession with flowers!) I suggest you treat your eyes with some of Tana's shots.

How wonderful is this ... we had such an overwhelming response to our first two Calligraphy classes scheduled for 11 March that they sold out very quickly .. so together with Maybelle Imasa-Stukuls we decided to add an extra class on March 6! ... we definitely should make the most of it while this calligraphy expert is visiting Singapore don't you think.
Me personally I'm so looking forward to this class and be able to learn this beautiful skill myself too. I have tried at home several times but know I can use some help.
Think about the endless possibility you can use this skill for ... writing down recipes for a friend to make it a bit more special, send a warm and kind letter to someone special, add a little gift tag to a present or just start using your new handwriting skills in a journal ... makes it all the more special.

"Simplicity is king in everything we do. Fashion isn't." ... according to Alexander + Zuzanna. The founders of the ThisisPaper shop and the creative brains behind the gorgeous artsy magazine that was founded in 2012.
I ordered the magazine for our creative space here in Singapore and hope the SIngaporeans will enjoy this magazine just as much as I do. It really encourage us to have a look at the simple and basic things around us... appreciate and treasure them.

Danish lifestyle brand Nordal came up with an exciting spring/summer collection. Inspired by the Far East they will treat us to a unique collection of lovely colors and pretty shapes. Beautiful furniture, candles & lanterns, soft cushions and must have textiles. My absolute favorite part of their collection is the Blossom ceramics.. teapots, cups, super pretty plates and lovely bowls in different sizes.. enjoy! x Christine - House of C
