OldwithNew.com is a relatively new online shop that opened up a month ago and we are embracing their style and colection full harthly!
Their name actually says alot about their idea of how the most liveable homes should be like. They believe in mixing old pieces with newer ones to give the impression of having a space with spaces that have been collected over a period of time!
They stock a wide range of products from talents all over the world and have selected range based on a knowledge of the current trends! So for those who have less confidence if your own taste, you can be assured that OldwithNew.com has that covered.
We chose a few outstanding pieces from their extensive line to give you a sneak peek at this brand new store!

Do you remember the post 'Get Your Kicks on' ... well today Anke and Kim are showing us this housetour shot in the interesting home of Dutch designer, Annebet Philips. Not only does A have the most quaint home, her works fit right into that space. We love how her designs have literally found their homes, in her home!
As a Delft University of Technology student a few years ago, Annebet took the time to pursue her own design projects and set up her studio in 2012. Her works are recognizable by their bold shapes and graphic features like the outlines on her My couch, my canvas. Another one of my favorite works of hers is the Knotted lamp!
Firstly, it is so unusual it wouldn't strike you that it was a lamp at first glance. Also, its exaggerated size gives me a sense of fantasy and imagination.
Annebet has shown us how her works have come alive in her home. The red and black accents in her pieces create a visual 'pop' in the space. They remind me of something out of an illustration, the graphic effect and the lines in her designs look like they have been drawn into the space itself. Simple yet eye-catching and wonderfully captured by the ladies from Get Your Kicks On!

Hi, morning everyone! It's Zara starting a new week here at Bloesem Living ... everyone loves having some fresh flowers around the house, they brighten the house up and make us happy when we catch sight of them while we rush about through out the day. Sadly, no matter how well we take care of fresh flowers, we have to face the harsh reality that they don't last long and soon we are left with a brown unsightly arrangement.
This year the Jorine Oosterhoff has came up with Paperflowers which were based on the concept of flowers you can keep forever... and that is exactly what I would do with these beautiful designs! They come in so many colors, designs and patterns, and would look gorgeous in any home! (especially somebody like me, with no ability to keep any kind of plants alive!)
Let's not forget about the amazing bubblevases the paperflowers are captured in in these photos! Inspired by soap bubbles, Jorine set out to capture their temporary beauty in these vases. Jorine captures the short-lived beauty of both the soap bubbles and flowers perfectly, we can't take our eyes of them!

Merging food and fantasy, her landscape cutlery would be great tools for getting children to eat their food.
Last year Bloesem was lucky enough to meet the duo from Burojet, Jorine Oosterhoff and Egbert-Jan Lam. Check out the interview and home tour here...
