Hopefully you didn't notice anything ... but I was travelling last week ... my two boys and I came to the Netherlands to spend our summer vacation here ... well summer feels more like autumn, hopefully the sun will show his face soon :) ... but ...
it's no biggie
First I am spending some time with my parents in the country side but most of my time I will be in Amsterdam ... and I am planning to feature many things to do, nice places and design interesting places with you here on Bloesem. The Bloesem Wear shop will be open throughout the entire summer and in case you didn't know I am hosting

Did you already see the new tea towels by Mae ... so gorgeous!! I am going to order them and glad to see Mikkili is having them in their collection. They are part of the new ish collection. Stunning! Mae Engelgeer is according to me the best designer in the Netherlands at the moment.

Face to Face a designer's profile with Caroline Ellerbeck .
I truly hope you will enjoy visiting this home today as much I do. Getting the opportunity to see how artists live, how they decorate their home is I believe really inspiring. I am very grateful first of all to all the designers and today in particular Caroline Ellerbeck for opening their houses and to Sandra and Marjon the interviewer and photographer for making time to prepare and create these amazing home tours for us.
Caroline is a famous illustrator and graphic designer in the Netherlands. By starting her own publishing company recently a dream came true for Caroline ... but much more about her and her family life right here at our Designer Profile's page ... Except for
the hazardous haze here in Singapore it has been a very good week for me and Bloesem.
Thank you for all the lovely comments, emails and tweets ...
What are your plans for the weekend .. we will be watching a lot of movies as we are not allowed to go outside due to the haze and I will start packing our suitcases ... almost ready to go to my home country... Amsterdam here we come!
