Bloesem won the vtwonen Meet The Blogger Award 2012
"Best Lifestyle Blogger 2012" ... given to Bloesem during the Meet the Blogger event that was organised in Amsterdam last weekend... you probably understand that it brought a huge smile to my face.
Jurors Monique de Ruiter, editor in chief from VTwonen, Frida Ramstedt from trendenser en Emma Wijninga looked at 75 blogs and thought Bloesem should win the award: VTwonen Meet the Blogger Award 2012.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to join the party or the day, but I heard many very positive stories from bloggers who went...
Meet the Blogger is an international event for home-, design- and lifestyle bloggers and it is all about Meeting, networking, inspiring, and learning ...
Although I haven't been to the Conservatorium Hotel myself yet, I can only imagine it being a great location for a day like this. (ps. I was born in the house right opposite this Hotel I thought that was a funny coincidence) NotCot recently wrote a nice post about the architect, Piero Lissoni and the hotel.
Bloggers like Danielle from the Style-Files, Yvonne from Yvestown, Pippa Jameson and Frida from Trendenser spoke about their experiences as bloggers and how you can turn a blog into a professional job.
Frida spoke about how she started almost six years ago, what her blog looked liked back then and who she has grown to having her own online iPad magazine... I agree with one of her quotes 'Don't focus on what you do today. Focus on what you want to be able to do tomorrow' and I also liked this line from Pipa: 'Relevant, clever content'
In the autumn of this year Meet The Blogger will organise another day but this time it will be held in Stockholm ... and I am serious considering coming over.. a great reason for me to finally be able to visit Scandinavia. More info at Meet the Blogger website.
Thank you Maartje van Laarhoven at Dutch Delights and Akkie Bosje for your input to make this post.
Congratulations to April and May and 70%PercentPure for the special mentions and receiving the runner up awards.
