Kuala Lumpur City Guide for Thai airline magazine
Always nice to share one of the projects Marjon and I have done last time she was here visiting me... a Kuala Lumpur City Guide for Sawasdee, the Thai airlines inflight magazine.
It is actually nice making city guides, intens, hard work but fun! It all starts with preparations: where to go, what to share and often you need to have permission to shoot. Than you give yourself about two days to run around like crazy to capture as much and as beautiful as possible. And you can only hope circumstances like weather, opening hours or others are working for you.
Kuala Lumpur is an interesting city. There are many hidden gems troughout the city. I believe much more could be done to clean up the city and restore the beautiful old buildings, but there certainly are many amazing spots. NY style restaurants, Milan kind of shops and of course the fantatstic Asian food stalls, restauarants and culture ... but guidance is needed! And I hope with this guide we have done just that.
The images were made by Marjon Hoogervorst and the words were by me. We have so many more images from Kuala Lumpur left, if you are a publisher or editor and looking for a Kuala Lumpur Travel Guide than please send Marjon or me an email.
You can find the complete travel guide in the online version of Sawasdee's May issue right here.
Thank you Emphasis Media for letting Marjon and me do this!
