Yes the internet is a great place... browsing one of my favorite tumblr blogs from far up North takes me all the way South to Singapore to the amazing work by studio juju... {image above: the Woble and Mushrooms}
I could easily copy-paste all their images from their website and show them here... but why don't you visit and experience yourself how hard it is to decide which design you like best...

the Platypus Chair or...

the Stacking Drums or...

the Piatti and Dough plates or.. the AT lamp...
studio juju was established only two years ago by Timo Wong and Priscilla Lui and they are based in Singapore and already won several awards like last year the Design Report Award during the Salone Satellite, Salone del Mobile 2011.

Some of you already heard that a little while ago I had the chance to meet the wonderful Anh-Minh Le, Editor in Chief from Anthology magazine, while she was in Singapore. And it was an absolute pleasure for me, not only to meet her, but also to hear a bit about the creative/blog scene in the San Francisco area.

Together with Meg Mateo Ilasco, Anh-Minh has created already the third issue of Anthology magazine. And ever since I have had all three issues in my hands I can't wait to see issue 4. It is almost an under-estimation to talk about a magazine... to me it feels more like a beautiful printed lookbook that comes with very well written interviews, fun party ideas, decorating tips and a lot of beautiful happiness!
{in the image above you see Jordan Ferney... Anh-Minh told me she is a creative super talent}
I don't want to sound like this Anthology-Cheerio... but the magazine truly is absolutely beautiful from beginning to end. I have endless admiration for women like Anh-Minh and Meg who have started this creative initiative in a 'not-so-welcoming-print-world' and are basically a two-lady business! Developing, creating, operating and writing everything themselves with help from amazing friend and contributors. And yes they both have different/other jobs too!!!

I asked Ahn-Minh who the designer was of the beautiful 'Anthology-logo' and yes of course who else could it be ... a good friend of them Joy from OhJoy. Joy often contributes to the magazine with nice articles and finds. Until now Anthology is available for US, Canadian and UK subscribers but Anh-Minh and Meg are open for more wholesale places in the world so please shoot them an email if you are interested. For you who are just as unfortunate as me and don't live in any of these countries please visit their blog for daily inspiration.

Anthology magazine... much more information right here.
All images were taken by me, Irene.

A Big Thank You to Judith aka Joelix for this very informative and beautiful report about the Nordics.

I'm starting this week with a 'symbolic' post, two tables in one... that is what i need this coming week... I wish the table would come with two 'me's' too... so much work I would like to finish this week...
The desk is just great and love the idea by German designer Stephan Schulz. Thanks Marjon for sharing with me.

The concrete series for Domestic by Stephan Schulz are amazing. I abslotlute love concrete used with warm textiles, carpets and pillows, it gives a great industrial look and any of these accesoiries like the bowls would be very welcome in my home.
Here you can find all the designs by Stephan Schulz. I'm sorry I don't know where you can buy any of the designs. I think it is best if you send Stepahn an email for more information.
