I have said this before, Barcelona is (together with Rome) my favorite city in Europe and when Dutch native Lisette van de Graaf from cute suite offered to write a report for us and share her favorite spots I was thrilled. Lisette has been living in Barcelone for more than 7 years ! I hope one day my family and I can join here :)
The guided tour Lisette is taking us on is a fantatstic city report you can bring whenever visiting Barcelona.

When Berit and Kerstin from snug studio send me an email about their new product: the songbirds mobile I knew imedeatly i wanted to start this week with showing you... the mobile is so sweet, but not too sweet, simple and fresh looking that I really love it. The little birds are all handmade from two coloured layers of wood and it is available right here in their dawanda shop.

snug. was founded 2010 by Kerstin Reileman, interiordesigner and Berit Luedecke, architect. In their small studio in Hannover, Germany they create new design-products inspired by their own childhood memories. This is the greatest source of inspiration for them.

Among jewellery and home products they recently developping more and more products for children like the snug.zoo breadboards or current the snug.songbirds mobile all made with natural materials such as wood and ceramic.

Let's keep it simple today, not too much text by me, but just images from beautiful designed objects by Studio Simple...

Studio Simple is run the by Ann Vereecken (1971) and Jeroen Worst (1974). Ann studied Graphic Design at the Royal Academie of Art in Ghent. Jeroen studied Industrial Design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam.

Studio Simple stands for objects/projects who have a clear relation with simplicity and time, local production and resources; hence a combination of what can be found nearby and something new, focusing on design footprint awareness.

All images were taken by Ruben Accou for Studio Simple.
