Renegade Handmade Spotlight Gallery

Renegadehandmadeprint2
{prints from Kate Pugsley and wall hanging from mummysam}

Have you already visited the the Renegade Handmade Spotlight Gallery? I'm always a little bit sad when I hear about a new Renegade fair that is coming to a city somewhere in the US, because I'm never able to actually go and visit and see/buy the work of all the great artists, but the Renegade Handmade blog is such a nice alternative for me to go and makes me feel as if i do visit.

Renegadehandmade

The new Renegade Handmade Spotlight Gallery makes it even more interesting for me, because here i find totally new to me art pieces...at the moment you will find 'Clay Curiosities' where you can discover a treasure trove of whimsical, odd, and beautiful pieces made of clay.

Koloni Stockholm

Kolonistockholm

Via Mus and I ran into Koloni Stockholm and I was surprised that we haven't seen their great Scandinavian designs not a lot more online. I did some research and was happily surprised to see that Huset carries some of the cutting-boards and tea towels too. The bright and typical Nordic graphic designs are truly something I enjoy. When I saw the shelf-edging ribbons it reminded me of my mom doing that in our cabinets at home too. Koloni Stockholm is a co-operation graphic designer Lotta Kühlhorn and shop owner Karin Carlbark. Click here to find a list of their stockists.

Christel Hoksbergen's Felt designs

Christelhoksbergen

Felt covers for chair and table legs...such a fun idea and especially nice when it has been executed in such a gorgeous way. Christel Hoksbergen is a Dutch designer/artist who makes beautiful accessories for our homes. I have shown one of her great pillows before here on Bloesem, but her collection deserves a lot more attention...

Christelhoksbergen.nl

The combination of felt and her embroidery art makes this one of the nicest pillows I have seen in a long time. You can order it by sending Christel an email. If you prefer a different embroidered image on the pillow instead of the living-room above then click here and see which ones you like best...I also adore these embroidered wall-hangings from Christel Hoksberge.
