I totally forgot, but today I'm celebrating together with the rest of the people from Kuala Lumpur "Federal Territory Day"...so please come back tomorrow for a new post!
Lenneke and Joey are traveling in Asia at the moment ... and I enjoy their journal very much!(Lenneke's home in Amsterdam)...I will also enjoy another weekend in Asia...warm weather some sate with fried rice and walk in thepark tomorrow...yes life is good...wish you a nice one too!

Perhaps you already saw it but I'm one of the Jurors for The Poppies ... feels a bit like the Grammys, Emmys or Oscars don't you think...well at least that is how I feel about the The Poppies ... a Virtual Award Event and like Jan said: "an appreciation and acknowledgment of the handmade community; a light and fun process to celebrate the Handmade!"
Of course I'm honored to be one of the jurors and to be in such impressive company ::... Lisa Solomon , Kate Bingaman-Burt, Faythe Levine, Victoria Smith, Andrea Corrona Jenkins and Jen Anisef....
Going through all the categories is truly a fun task ... i get to see so many new and talented people and although it will be hard to give my final votes please know that the juror selection is in addition to the "The People's Choice" winners, which you can be part off, so please go and vote!

Last week we were invited to

Dutch designers, who both know how to 'play' with ceramics in the funniest way possible ... I LOVE these
Snout Cups! Wouldn't it be great fun to see your guests funny faces when you drink your cup and they see your face transform in a cow, piggy, monkey or doggie!
