Stephanie Levy emailed me last week about an interview she had done with Heather Moore from SkinnyLaminx on her blog, which was a pleasure to read, but it was also a reminder for me about her great art work. Stephanie is a native of Memphis, Tennessee, who has been living in Munich, Germany nowadays. You can find her work at the PoppyHandmade Market this month and also at her etsy shop.
{ps. next on Thursday there will be a regular Weekly Gallery and tomorrow I'm going to show you a greatcrafty spot I discovered here in Kuala Lumpur}

I don't write about fashion accessories very often but today i like to show you this beautiful hand knitted bag made from hemp by Tracy Hachler from OliveBrown, I often visit her stylish blog SimplyOlive and here i also found these great felt coasters, made from felted thrift store wool sweaters, they are gray with sprout green top stitching on 1 side, and gray top stitching on the reverse and you can buy them right here...
I was just writing a post on B:Kids about Olli&Lime, a very nice design studio from the UK selling bedroom furnishings for kids...on Karin and Andy's blog I found an image of a new kitchen in their house...and thought I share it with you...the fresh lime, or I would call it apple green and the concrete counter top really looks very beautiful in my opinion...{ps. aircon still isn't working, so I moved my desk and computer to our bedroom, which will make my husband very happy tonight..???}

I'm in love...with a chair, yes with this patchwork chair by London based furniture designer Amy Hunting ...the chair is part of Amy's Patchwork series consisting of a chair, a book box and a series of 12 lamps...and what makes the series even more beautiful is that it's entirely made out of wood waste and off-cuts collected from factories in Denmark. I have no idea where ou can buy the series, but I'm going to send Amy an email and ask her for some more information...{found via Wannekes}
While visiting one of my favorite blogs from down-under, StudioCreative, I found these very beautiful pillows by New Zealand designer Ingrid Anderson. Her products include a range of homeware and bed linen and everything is made in New Zealand, with a great focus on quality..i believe some of the prints are based on Kiwi or Māori patterns...
