The Weekly Gallery

Friday, 6 June 2008 by Irene Hoofs

When I'm searching for new designs, artwork and products on the net and in magazines I sometimes forget to have a look at the obvious resources ... like my sponsors who all sell some pretty amazing work by artists from all over the world so I decided that this Week's Gallery will be devoted to the items and art they offer...

I love the colors in these prints by Yellow Owl Workshop, which is the cottage industry of Christine Schmidt. From her studio high atop blustery Bernal Hill in San Francisco, she creates art for personal correspondence with eco-lovin inks and 100% recycled paper...the prints are available at Poppy Talk's Handmade market, which is chokfull a great paper goods and affordable art this month!!
ArtStream is selling some incredible art lately...amazine original acrylic paintings by the very talented Joseph Blajda, this one is called "Up Late #21" and here you can find many more from the same series
...and the other talented artisit I would like to show is Heather Smith Jones ... wow i love this piece, called Keep building, hoping...hoping one day I will be able to afford it!

Stephanie DosReis is selling some lovely whimsical art over at Modish, the Butter Print is a signed limited edition print of her original mixed media painting, part of her "Wholesome" series...and the sweet little flower House is made from vintage and recycled fabric and stuffed plump with recycled polyfill and organic rice for weight.

Who doesn't love Alyson Fox...and this one is so funny...'Ladies and Bunnies', available at one of my favorite shops online... and also this lovely one 'Bathe in Settling Sun' made by Dan-ah Kim ...enjoy finding the perfect print for yourself.
These little necklaces are just adorable, they are handmade by Emedemarta and the best shop in Barccelona is selling them online right here...I Love Dudua!!
