Mothers day is may 11, don't forget!! {...and Stu and Janet will be donating $1 from each Three Potato Four Milk Bottle Carafe sale to Action Against Hunger}

..I will be back on Monday, wish you a wonderful week, and hope to see you back real soon!..

Going home...yes after almost one year it's time to visit our family and friends in the Netherlands (joehoe I'm so excited, mama here I come!)...we'll be leaving at the end of this week and today I'm going to start packing, wrap-up some gifts and do some last minute groceries...and looking at this great image from Pia Jane I get goosebumps all over my body...this is it...this is Amsterdam and I lOVE it....I truly enjoy living here in wonderful Kuala Lumpur...but Amsterdam will always be my hometown and the only place on earth that makes me emotional when entering the heart of the city...

Nielsbrozat
I just saw these beautiful paintings over at Tas-ka...they are from Dutch painter Niels Broszat, apparently his specialty is creating stills of flowers using a wide range of different techniques.

...and speaking of Tas-ka a little while ago I did an interview with them over at BloesemKids, maybe you want to have a look at the images of their studio and houses ... they are very inspirational.

Fabrizio Dusi

...more from Milan today, but not from the fair but from a great ceramic artist...this artwork is part of the Conversation series by Fabrizio Dusi from Italy. After his study at the Corsican ceramic Cova school in Milan he started working as an assistant at the office of Milan ceramists Fausto Salvi and Silvia Zotta and in October 2005 Fabrizio opened his own brick and mortar shop in Milan in Soffredini 77, where he sells vases, accessories, panels and large ceramic wall installations like this one.
