Lara Camaron

Thursday, 14 February 2008 by Irene Hoofs

Yesterday I saw these great lampshades made by Lara Cameron using her own printed fabrics and I knew I was going to write about them today on Bloesem.
When I visited Lara's site again today I also saw her new gocco prints and this was such a coincidence for me, because she was writing about how she finally pulled out her Gocco again for the first time in months and how it took her awhile to get over the preciousness of her Gocco supplies and be willing to use up a few screens in one hit...i did exactly the same today and am also trying to not be afraid to use the supplies...so tomorrow I am going to use my Gocco, of course the result will never look so nice as this one by the talented Lara but I will do my best and just working with it must bring some joy. Lara only has 10 available in her shop, so hurry! And would you like to learn more about her lampshades here is a great tutorial written by her.
