Today Bloesem will be all about artwork and paintings. I know how hard it is to find something for your walls that fits with your furniture and will look nice after 20 years...Joel Henriques is an artist who paints modern still lifes and abstracts. He says he has always been fascinated by color, shape and craftsmanship, like textures, technique, and hands-on care that can be seen in art. I agree with him totally. Here you can find Joel Henriques' whole collection!

Via Kathleen Hill's website I found this fun online shop from the UK, Pedlars, love the fully reconditioned 'Target' telephone and the numbered teatowels. Have fun browsing through their shop, while I will start working on a wonderful new Special Read about two ceramic artists, which will be shown on Bloesem later this week. Also I will be finishing a special project I'm working on with the people from DaWanda, the cool market place for unique products by independant artists and of course I will be posting on BloesemKids today, right here. Hope to see you back tomorrow!
When I received an email from Danielle Smeets this morning I knew directly I was going to show her lovely new limited edition screen-printed fabric to you. The design is called Flower Garden, it has been professionally
screen-printed by hand onto 55% linen and 45% cotton blend fabric using
solvent-free ink. It is available now in Danielle's online shop. Danielle is a West-Australian based designer with a particular interest in textile and surface design.
