How gorgeous are these designs by Polkka Jam? Love them! The prints I have pictured are from their postcards, but you can find these same prints or different ones as tea towels, posters, decoration, and they even have a section of children's prints that are fabulous! I especially love the garden focused illustrations.

Polkka Jam is a company out of Finland, and have been illustrating and designing their prints for over ten years at their studio. They aim to keep their products as local and ecological as possible. Be sure to check out their blog, for updates and what inspires them.

Monday's quick start: nala pillows and wishes

Last week we shared a lot of images from the Milan furniture fair 2012 and I will do so later today and tomorrow... but the person who made these images for us is Lisette Scheers, creative director from company La Scheers&Co and Nala designs.

Nala designs is the name of her label of accessories, stationery, totes and pillows. The patterns for all of these are Lisette’s hand drawn illustrations. I really love them and am happy to share them on Bloesem today.

Monday's Quick Start... 'Happy Note'

It's not a 'primeur' today in the Monday's Quick Start and you might have seen these already in blogland before ... but I enjoy starting this monday with these colorful Notes ... I am sure they will bring you in a Happy mood.... my online friend Joke Vande Gaer who lives in Portland (but is originally from Belgium) just launched her new stationery collection including these notes and some great stickers, useful for soooo many occasions. Tokketok: a gorgeous new website

 

I have been a long-time fan of the letterpress studio Tokketok by Joke van de Gaer, a lovely Belgium lady living in Portland, Oregon. The name Tokketok comes from her little boy Oliver. It was the first word he said and it’s the sound a chicken makes in dutch. Want to hear him say it? click here! 

Exactly one year after starting Tokketok Joke is opening the doors to her new website...a gorgeous one designed with the help of the very talented stylist, Chelsea Fuss and images were taken by  Lisa Warninger. I wish Joke a wonderful future with Tokketok and can't wait to see more super nice designs from her coming... Congrats Joke!
