Huset

Huset I always love to show Scandinavian designs on Bloesem so I was very happy that a terrific online shop, Huset, is a new sponsor of Bloesem selling many fantastic pieces from various Scandinavian designers like the Fiducia Magnetic Candlestick vase or holder from Louise Campbell

Huset_shelf Or the Nero shelves designed by Nanni Holén. When designing the shelves Nannie was decorated shelves you sometimes find in old cupboards and Nero received the Swedish design "UNG" award this last year.

Huset_sheepskin

You can visit Huset , which means "the house" in Swedish, Danish and Norwegian right here for some very nice and unique modern scandinavian designs.

Nina Jobs

{pattern design by Nina Jobs called Tweed for the Kreation series}
With a smile on my face was I scrolling to Nina Jobs her site yesterday ... I really like her style, designs and patterns. Nina Jobs is an Swedish industrial designer with a background in graphic design. She lives in Stockholm and from her studio she works for some big brands like Ikea, H&M and for the Museum of Modern Art New York.

Ninajobs_jungle

For the company David Design Sweden, Nina has designed the beautiful textile series, called Jungle, that includes this cushion and a large, round tray, both online available at the Scandinavian Design Center.
Ninajobs_bowls

... I really like these flexible bowls in China with the cork lid from Nina Jobs, but I couldn't find a place were you can buy them, I think they were made especially for a corporate client. But anyhow, they are gorgeous to look at and I'm sure some of you will find them very inspirational.If you have any questions for Nina I would suggest just sending her an email. Have fun visiting her website.

...and if you were hoping to see this Weeks Gallery ... don't worry tomorrow it will be there with many nice designs, arts and textiles ... I just wanted to share this with you today...

Malin Lundmark

Malinlundmark_hooks
{Hook hanger and wooden knobs for the wall inspired by chess by Malin Lundmark}
Malin Lundmark just send me an email with her new collection of beautiful products. Malin is a Swedish designer, based in Stockholm and you might have seen her work before here on Bloesem. Malin's main philosophy when creating something, whether it is for an exhibition or a product, is to mix playfulness, function and decoration. She wants the product to both have a soul and to tell a story. Everything she make becomes a part of her Wonderland world, a world where fantasy becomes reality, a world where environment and products come together to create a completeness....
Malinlundmark
Another new product from Malin Lundmark is the MagBag...a magazine holder in the shape of a stylized bag. It´s a functional product where purpose and playfulness interplay in a poetic way and is available via Maze. {ps. The Hook Hanger and the Chess hooks are both available via LADP}

Launch design partner

Jbadesign
Moa Jantze, Hanna Brogård and Johanna Asshoff are jba-design from Sweden and I love their new bird hangers! It's a ceramic hook in shape off a bird where you can expose your favorite accessories and are available via Launch design partner.
Ingridunsold
At Launch design partner I also found the vinyls for interior decoration by Ingrid Unsold. Ingrid is a graphic designer and interior decorator, who says her favorite spaces to decorate are elevators, restrooms and entrances...here you see what she means.

WIS design

Twine_table
It's always a pleasure to write about the beautiful furniture pieces from WIS design...Twine Table is their latest creation and I love it. This set of tables is inspired by one of the oldest ways of attaching one object to another – with a needle and thread. The wire is twined through the table top, and becomes legs as well as upholding construction. The tables comes in three different sizes, two coffee tables and a bar table, and can be placed together or apart. For more information click here...

Karl-Oskar Karlsson

Karloskar
Hi everyone...let me introduce to you a new product designer from Sweden, Karl-Oskar Karlsson, at the beginning of this new week. Karl-Oskar studied both glass design and product design at the School of Design in Kalmar, Sweden. He told me that the school is located in the Kingdom of Crystal where the top quality glass from Sweden is made. His designs are about searching for contrasts that can make 1+1=3, like this beautiful glass set. The set is part of collection called 'the combine family'...have a look here! You can send Karl-Oskar an email for more information.

WIS design

Wisdesign
I love this new Chest of Drawers called Decades by WIS design. The chest of drawers is made out of discarded drawers, found and rescued at flea markets, which creates a mix of different styles from earlier decades. All different sorts of woods and knobs in a single piece of furniture, beautiful! The old drawers are enhanced by the new frame in white lacquered MDF. Click here for their website. For more information you can send Lisa or Anna an email.

Jarl Fernaeus

Jarlfernaeus
Just before anther weekend starts I want to show you the amazing designs by Jarl Fernaeus. Jarl is a 35 year old designer and art director from Stockholm. He says he always works with a clear idea about the form and the concept. During 100%futures in London Jarl showed four new products, that he made in collaboration with DuPont in Sweden. He used wood together with Corian. This material gives the objects a clean, cold look which makes the strict and precise expression stronger. It also gives the objects a more luxurious feel.
Jarl
The purpose of showing the interiors objects at the exhibition was for Jarl Fernaeus to find out about the interest and response of the products. My response is as follow...'I love your items and sincerely hope that all the products will be produced in larger numbers in the future so one day I will be able to own one of your amazing designs'. Please keep us updated Jarl! {for any interested manufacturer here is Jarl's email address}
ps. wish you a wonderful weekend of course and hope to see you back soon!

Interior Dialog

Dorte_blindduvet
Any bedroom will improve when you hang blinds like these or sleep under a duvet like this. The products are from the ‘Interior Dialog’ collection from Dorte Agergaard Jensen. Dorte is a graphic and textile designer and studied in both London and Denmark. Dorte’s work is all about digital printing on textiles for interior products. She showed her ‘interior dialog’ collection at 100%Futures in London recently.

Dorte
Amongst Dorte's collection is a 20-meter long fabric with a unique print off interior products. Dorte used the same prints for a duvet cover, blinds and curtains…the prints are very vibrant and they almost look like you want to grab them of the fabric.
Dortepillow_2
Dorte’s own words about “Interior dialogue” ... “it is a design series created for home and body where expression and form take their departure point in rearranging everyday objects and placing them in a new context – a play with our concepts of normality. The aim is to innovate everyday interior and clothing.” Please send Dorte and email if you are interested in buying them or pricing.

FokusFabrik

Fokusfabrik
I know I told you that my weekend was starting, but I just opened my inbox and found an email from FokusFabrik (from Finland) and I couldn't resist posting their new products and fabrics, available per meter right here...

Fokusfabrikpillows

Fokustest_2
