Monday's quick start: Nämä from Finland

A dreamy, sweet and crispy start of the week with Nämä from Finland. This online shop created their own small online free magazine and the images are just perfect! ... and yes I do like all the products too.

These cuttingboards are very high on my wish-list and although no images here I do love the small vintage range of ceramics at Nämä.

The beautiful Metsä fabric from Kauniste is perfect for teatowels and NAMA photographed them so well!! But I also like how Time of the Aquarius used the same fabric for their new guestroom.

Monday's quick start: HAPPYsthlm new shop in Stockholm

Kajsa Aronsson from HAPPYsthlm send me an email about her new collection AND new brick and mortar shop she opened in Stockholm ... can't wait to visit and have a look for myself ... perhaps February next year when I am planning to go!

Darling Clementine for Ferm Living

I just love Darling Clementine's work. These ladies know who to brighten up our days. Did you already their collaboration with Ferm-living? And just now I spend more than an hour browsing their beautiful Tumblr blog.

For you who haven;t hear about Darling Clementine yet... Darling Clementine is Norwegian design agency inspired by the past and their Scandinavian design heritage.

 

Koloni Stockholm

Via Mus and I ran into Koloni Stockholm and I was surprised that we haven't seen their great Scandinavian designs not a lot more online. I did some research and was happily surprised to see that Huset carries some of the cutting-boards and tea towels too. The bright and typical Nordic graphic designs are truly something I enjoy. When I saw the shelf-edging ribbons it reminded me of my mom doing that in our cabinets at home too. Koloni Stockholm is a co-operation graphic designer Lotta Kühlhorn and shop owner Karin Carlbark. Kitka in Japan

You remember my post from last week about the Nendo Globe ... well yesterday I visited Kitka (one of my new favorite blogs) and there it was standing on Juli and John's table.... I am so jealous...and not only because of the globe ... they went to Japan and brought back many gorgeous objects ...

 

But Juli and John didn't leave us empty-handed... they are sharing with us what I believe is the best tour/report about Japan that I have seen online in a long time, truly eye-candy and a big inspiration for all Japan-lovers...enjoy!

Juli and John also run the shop Mjölk in Toronto specializing in Scandinavian designs...including the beautiful tea towels from Kauniste from Finland. Unfortunately no webshop, but the online gallery is again a feast for the eye...
