Did you know about Mini Empire Sweden? It's this amazing brand with pretty textiles, wallpaper and prints. At the moment they've got this African theme going on, pretty images of elephants and lions on all kind of beautiful items. Just love the textile bags and animal garland, must haves for great and small i'll say! xo Christine – House of C
Thanks Christine for the first quick start of 2014 and featuring ME on your gorgeous blog today! Happy New Year to you xoxo irene

From desks to the designs you see here, we believe you guys share our love for Kellie's (aka Buisjes en Beugels +++ ) design aesthetic. Her NEW homewares are off the beaten path and truly a breath of fresh air.
Right off our recent post on chopping boards, we have to say Kellie's design is definitely out of the box. The graphic lines and shapes of the chopping boards make them pieces of kitchen art!
Kellie originally started out designing kids fashion, with her two children as her muses and little models but with her origins in product design, it was a matter of time she came back to her roots! Along with her other award winning designs (In 2009 she designed INSEKT desk, in 2011 it was ready to be launched on the international market and in 2013 it became the IMM Interior Innovation Award Winner!), Buisjes En Beugels +++ webshop also hosts a number of guests labels.

The weekend didn't end very well for my ... felt sick on Sunday and woke up during the night with a very painful throat ... I don't like feeling sick especially now with the preparations of my new studio and the busy Holiday Season ... a million things to do. But I need to stay in bed for a couple of days... luckily i have some wonderful help from Zara S. and we are able to continue posting like normal.
Being in bed all day makes me long for nice bed sheets like these ...
Nuée from Belgium has introduced their line of linen beddings, Cloud. Consisting of a wide range of colors that all blend in with the white of the linen.
Each color on its own already blows my mind but the way they have styled four different colors of bedding in one shot is just pure magic. I can't whether i would personally have 4 different colors on my bed at one time but i would love to own all the colors and use them in rotation. They are the dream.
The images in their gallery showcase the different colors and styles of dip dye bedding. Not only are the shots and bedding drool-worthy, they also have this dream-like, calming quality, which is great for bedtime (or nap time, it doesn't matter if you are a grown up with a job, we all want/need a nap sometime).

Hi, good morning this is Christine from House of C treating you to some real splashes of color this Monday morning! These amazing images are by DAN300, an Australian (home) accessories brand founded by Dani Rosen. Generous cushions, amazing kaleidoscope rugs in various sizes, lovely stationary and - my favorite - pretty A4 art prints (just a perfect match for your Ikea Ribba frame). Don't you just love the retro designs and catchy colors, I know I do!

Hi, good morning, this is Christine from House of C . Hope you've had a happy weekend and are ready to start this week at Bloesem with some lovely accessories from Sydney, Australia.
Please meet The Print Society, a homewares and accessories label from Australia. Cozy cushions made from natural fabrics such as hemp and linen. The Asian and Scandinavian influences of the designs make them real wanna haves, don't you think. Geometric forms, lots of color and a great eye for detail. Such a great example of how a small label can make a big impact!
