Japanese label, Lue, believes that the hands are the most accurate and delicate. Even more so than machines when creating their range of handmade brass pieces. Working exclusively with Brass, the studio creates utensils, stationary and accessories out of their workshop in Japan. They see brass as a beautiful material that becomes more attractive with age, which is in line with the philosophy behind their products - made to last.

Based in France, Wo & We produces a collection of hand crafted contemporary lamps or rather sculptural lighting fixtures. The lamps are attached to the wall and are made up of adjustable "limbs" that be moved around to fit the space you are in.. or if you wish to shine a spotlight on a particular area.
Whether by the bed or in the dining area, these lamps are 100% cool and take up zero floor space which is already a plus factor in any home.

Anyone who's seen the Bloesem space knows about our love for the trestle legs that hold up our table tops. Thin and elegant, they don't take up much leg space and gives the space a light and airy feeling. And New gives us that same feeling. Using steel, Jo and Mirka have a minimal design aesthetic topped with a beautiful colour range.
Their powder coated designs bring a playful element to any space, with the use of colour and geometry in form. Produced in small batches in Britain, each piece is unique.. we love the playfulness they have injected into the pieces of furniture we view more as practical pieces in our home.

The fact is that plants are beautiful but they don't stay that way too long, especially when you forget to water them 3 days in a row because you were swamped at the office. It can sometimes be tough keeping plants alive, we know that for a fact, especially when the weather isn't always on your side.
Tableau by Pikaplant is an automatic (music to our ears) plant watering tray. It mimics the natural wet-dry cycle of groundwater, for healthier herbs and house plants. It uses no electricity and waters up to 4 plants. We've got smart phones, now we've got smart plants.. the simple design also makes this a great addition to any window sill or office table. We won't have the fear of plants dying on us before we remember to water them. Definitely something exciting to start the week off with!
We should support great inventions so here's their kickstarter campaign..

"Every single piece is unique and handmade with love." Little Upside Down Cake curates a selection of beautiful handmade products, ranging from ceramics to leather products, by a group of Portuguese makers. Each of the pieces are created in very small scale edition and celebrates every single imperfection of the creating process. The handwork and passion that goes behind handcrafting each piece is remarkable... that when you use it you can feel the hands of who made it!
