When a favorite blogger/photographer of mine is working together with a Swedish printmaker something beautiful must come out of it ...  the new collection by Tove Johansson is simply stunning. 

I love the pillows, the lampshades, teatowels and of course the kids' collection too.

And if this is only just the beginning than I am sure we will hear and see much more of this talented lady. 

Tove Johansson is a Swedish designer based in Paris working in the fields of fashion and printmaking for interior, accessories and stationary. Enjoy!

Monday's Quick Start : Carlien Peijsel...

'just laying around' pillows by Dutch graphic designer Carlien Peijsel. A collection of handmade and screen-printed cushions that like many other things in Carlien's home are just laying around... i like the pastelly-colors and the combinatins of colors Carlien has chosen...

Two of my favorite colors combined in one pillow with the symbol of my home land... how could I not start with this today :) Angela Ligouri send me an email yesterday evening telling me about her good friends new collection and shop. Valerie Ormiston founder of pikku wares just uploaded a whole range of gorgeous new home accessories and I love them... 

The beautiful ribbon you see in the image above is from Angela her own online shop, it is Italian cotton in loose weave and it's absolutely my favorite ribbon in the whole wide world! You can buy it right here. The flower quilt comes from the pikku shop and I just added this to my Wish list.  {Thanks ANgela for letting me know. xx }
