Kellie Smits

I am a huge fan of my Kellie Smits, founder and owner of funky online shop Buisjes En Beugels +++.

She is not only a webshop owner, she is also super talented and a very creative person, a lady with style!

First she started her own fashion line for kids and about a year ago she launched her first furniture piece. The insekt desk in green is simply beautiful. I am proud she is a sponsor of Bloesem.

Louise Roe from Denmark

Today's post shows again the importance of styling and photography for a brand ... Louise Roe, a qualified clothes designer knows this all to well after having worked for many years in the home furnishing and interior design business. She sees fashion and interiors as one and they have become a lifestyle for her. 

When the sisters from Basis Home send me an email about the Lousie Roe brand I was very much inspired by all the images. Perhaps the first thing you notice is the toal ambiance but when looking closer you see the beautiful fabrics and patterns Louise designed and uses for her collections. 

Basis Home is welcoming this Danish brand to the Netherlands and I am sure you Bloesem readers from all over the world would like to know where and when Louise Roe is available in your country too...

Nala and bloesem styling

You might have seen these images over at Decor8 last week ... Holly was so super kind to introduce Nala design and my first official styling job to her readers.

Just before Christmas a photo shoot took place in my home here in Kuala Lumpur for  Nala Design, a stationery and home decor line from Malaysia founded by my friend Lisette Scheers.

It was a fun day and I have to give a special thanks to Tian Xing and Sammie from Show Up Pictures, they are fantastic to work with and I would definetly hire them for any photography job.

Washi collection

 

a collection perfect for washi tape lovers ... I know many of you really like everything masking tape ... so how about the new collection from mrs. eliot books ... I rather like it :) ! The cushion above is my favorite, but a iphone cover is very lovely too ... I have been a fan of mrs eliot for a long time and it is just great to see her collection expand ...

I can't take my eyes of these bedsheets ever since I copied this image to my desktop ... I LOve everything about it!

Imogen Heath has been a textile designer since 2004 and started up her own design studio in June 2011. In her own words : ‘My design process is all about retaining the same feeling of excitement and Joy that comes to me when I have an idea for a pattern, or when I draw something for the first time. I hope that by successfully taking these feelings through to the finished piece I can somehow bring that same delight into people’s surroundings’.
