D:: Dutch is... Being straightforward (I've been told that we can be a bit blunt, but it's just honesty, no harm intended, I promise!;-) owning more than one bike, I do feel a bit detached when not being able to ride my bike everywhere. My dotted raincoat and making the most of small houses!

E:: entrance, when entering my home you will notice... Me ignoring autumn is coming and trying to grow all sorts of plants in pots and containers (even though my plant space is a bit shady, I'm just being very persistent).

S:: Swedish is... who I am; colour, structure, white space, practical

W:: walls in my home are covered with... Cuban poster art and tin pot lids

E:: entrance, when entering my home you will notice ... a jungle of plants

D:: do-it-yourself projects I have done are... sewing cushion covers and curtains

I:: if I could live in a different place or home, it would be... in a Swedish sea-bath house, at the end of a pier

S:: snack, my favorite Swedish snack is... kanelbullar (cinnamon buns)

B:: British is...   Well, when I was a little girl growing up in Tanzania, I read a book which told me that British was : snow, a warm vest, school dinners and knives and forks. I was rather disappointed not to find any snow when I arrived.

R:: room, my favorite room in our home is... Our library. It was one of the first rooms we completed in the house. Its the room that is closest  to our original vision for the house. We dont use it enough.

A:: Australian is... passionate, quirky, colourful, thoughtful.

U:: U is for... Understanding, I rely heavily on my manufactures understanding my vision and my sometimes my not so perfect drawings.

S:: style means... being unique but relatable.

T:: time I need to make for... reading, I have so many books that I have skimmed and put away for a rainy day - if only it rained a little more in Sydney. 

R:: room, my favorite room in our home is... the living room, filled with a wacky mix of furniture I have found on the street and refurbished, op-shop finds and colourful collections of bit and pieces from my wanderings. 

A:: art in my home is from... Sue Dawes a wonderful artist from a small town near Newcastle, Australia.

D:: Dutch is ....walking along the fishing boats in Scheveningen and breathing in the salty air from the sea. It is also walking on an empty beach during heavy autumn storms, watching big swells.

E:: entrance, when entering our home you will notice ... that we are always busy with creativity. Most of the time our home is filled with sketches, models and inspiring books. Especially Nellianna has the habit of spreading things all over the place.

S:: Style means ... collecting things from places where we have been. Those things reming us of beautiful moments. For instance we have a branch of a tree from Denmark in our bedroom that we use to hang clothes on.

I:: interesting places in my city are ... the secret entrance to the Paleistuinen in the Hague. There is a hidden entrance where you can ring a bell. After ringing, the entrance to the gardens will be opened for you by guards. When entering you feel like the queen.

A:: American is... Frank Lloyd Wright, Silicon Valley, Levi Strauss, Marilyn Monroe, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, cowboys, Coca-Cola, Polaroid, Sesame Street, Big Foot, jazz, baseball, and of course the Corvette.

M:: make, I start making when... I wake up in the morning all the way to when I go to sleep. I am a maker and a dreamer; most often the two compliment each other.
