Lime

I was just writing a post on B:Kids about Olli&Lime, a very nice design studio from the UK selling bedroom furnishings for kids...on Karin and Andy's blog I found an image of a new kitchen in their house...and thought I share it with you...the fresh lime, or I would call it apple green and the concrete counter top really looks very beautiful in my opinion...{ps. aircon still isn't working, so I moved my desk and computer to our bedroom, which will make my husband very happy tonight..???}

A Mad Tea {Towel} Party

Maya Drozdz is curating an exhibit of tea towels created by 25 artists and designers worldwide, and it's opening this coming Friday at the Nicholas Gallery in downtown Cincinnati, OH, USA...wish I could go, but I'm very happy the Dutch will be represented by the very talented Sigrid Calon...more details on all the the participants, like  Creative Thursday, three sheets 2 the wind, Variegated, Inc., Atelier LZC, and Push Me Pull You Design you can find here...

Too late again...for the the second dipped series..gorgeous teatowels handmade by Loraine from Grijs...when her first batch sold out in no time she offered us a second series, but of course...sold out again...hopefully there will be a new series in the near future...{ps. the webshop itself is a feast for the eye!}

My last post for this week...I'm so much looking forward going to the Netherlands this week and being together with our family and friends again...especially spending a lot of  time with my mother and my son together...we will be celebrating our mother days together and what would be a nicer gift then one of these lovely milk bottle/carafes made by Stu and Janet from Three Potato Four ...
