You might wonder what Orla Kiely , BlogBoss and my lessons have in common, well ... Friday's lesson will be all about "Planning, prioritizing and handling unexpected surprises as a full-time blogger"  and "staying true to your own style"...

Orla Kiely 's presentation of her new aw13 winter collection captures exactly how I picture the ideal home office environment – very, very stylish but also structured and functional. Planning and coping with big or small home-office disasters will be a walk in the park in an environment like this…perhaps I should dress up as well each day….pyjamas sort of look out of place in such a sophisticated workplace…

It is always a pleasure for me to start with something from the Netherlands on Mondays. For you who follow Bloesem for a couple of years already know that I am a big fan of the work by Studio Maarten Kolk & Guus Kusters. Waterloop, Avifauna and By Guus have all been featured in the past. 

During Dutch Design Week 2012 Maarten en Guus decided to set up a selection of their latest work in their own house. An intimate and private show ... unfortunatley the show is over but we can still enjoy the images they took.     [MORE IMAGES]

Studio Swine

When thinking of decorating a new office I will surely keep this beautiful offices in mind. Studio Swine designed it for EMU Films in London ... wonderful to see how many of my favorite things come together so nicely in this small space ... pegboard, wooden desk and super fun wooden shelves ... perhaps the only thing I would have done differently is the floor ... just not a big fan of these grey tiles :)

Studio Swine is a collaboration between Azusa Murakami and Alexander Groves. Azusa graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture and Alexander from the Ruskin School of Fine Art Oxford before both gaining an MA in Design Products at the Royal College of Art.

Coffeeklatch a creative chitchat

Not sure where I was ... probably living under a rock :) but glad I found Coffeeklatch from Belgium today ... wow such a beautiful source of inspiration and eye-candy . Of course the site reminds me of the German FvF but we can never get enough of these kind of sites that gives you an intimate insight in the lives of creative people. 

Coffeeklatch is a creative chitchat started by journalist Magali Elali and photographer Bart Kiggen. Coffeeklatch stands for ‘slow journalism using a fast medium’. Just sit back, relax, have a cup of coffee and enjoy.              [MORE IMAGES after the break]
