To Dry For

I can't get enough of mice tea towels ... I regard them as beautiful printed peices of fabric  that I can decorate our home with ... I sometimes even use them to make pillows...so what nicer then to discover this website ... ToDryFor ... it specializes in designer tea towels. L’Atelier Beau Travail and Claire Leina

L’Atelier Beau Travail sent me an email telling me that they are extending their beutiful exhibition till Saturday ...if you live or visit Paris this week, please visit!!

Via the exhibition images on their blog I found the work by Claire Leina. A french textile and graphic designer based in South of France and yes you probably noticed the Mushroom trend ... but her pattern is one of the best I have seen so far. Claire also has a great blog ... please say Hi for me!

Umbrella Prints

Joy reminded me of the gorgeous fabrics from Umbralla Prints the other day and I just had to show them too here on Bloesem....the prints are soooo beautiful and I am now hooked on Amy's blog here and Carly's blog here ...

Umbrella Prints is an Australian textile house started by Amy Prior and Carly Schwerdt and needless to say much more when seeing a chair like this covered in one of their fabric designs ... :)

Wallnut. Graphic designer Cristina Londoño send me an email about the launch of her new website and online portfolio ... and yes ... I like her graphic design work for textiles, wallpapers, packaging and more very much!

Karen Barbé

...okay I'm officially on a sabbatical ... but when I saw the images of these amazing fabrics designed by Santiago, Chile, based textile designer Karen Barbé I immediately missed my dear Bloesem ... so this morning a new post, hope you like the link as much as I do!
 
...and this is what Karen made from the gorgeous tiles ... I'm not sure if you can buy the textile/fabric anywhere, will send an email to Karen and let you know....finds like these make me realize how much I love blogging!

Skinny Laminx

Do you like my new tea towels from Skinny Laminx just as much as I do? The gorgeous new fabrics which you can buy per meter are also great looking on these chairs ... the chair on the left would not really be my style but covered with this fabric I could see it in our home, the right chair is welcome in our home anytime! Thanks Heather!

My parents arrived yesterday (YEAH) and they are going to help me with the garden, I'm very excited to learn more from these very experienced gardeners. Will try to show you some images next week, but now I would like to wish you a very lovely weekend! Irene xx
