We are so glad to have Christine (she used to regularly contribute beautiful quickstart posts on Bloesem) back just for today to with this wicked post!
It's been a while since my last post on Bloesem, but this lovely new brand i had to share with you! Last week Dutch designer Mirjam Verhulst launched her new label Toffe Stoffen (Dutch for Wicked Fabrics). Elegant tea towels, bold cushions cases and Mix 'n Match fabrics to upholster your vintage design stool and make it your very own. A graphic stripe pattern all tangled up, disturbed and annoyed.. just love how she chose those names! :) Contemporary trend colors like soft grey, dusky green, bright yellow and black & white. Have a look at her pretty website.. i know you'll love it too! x Christine - House of C

A modern take on a classic design.. Danish Lucie Kaas know the way! Founded in 2012 Lucie Kaas came up with a number of re-launches of mid-century Scandinavian designs. Pretty wooden figures designed by Gunnar Flørning in the late 50's - that baby elephant is so cute! - and beautiful "Lotus" ceramics after a pattern designed in the urly 60's by Norwegian artist Arne Clausen. Wouldn't you just love some of these happy colors on your breakfast-table?.. I know i would! x Christine – House of C

Always have an instant crush on Australian design labels.. they're colorful, original and super creative. Just have a look at these pretty designs by Lumiere Art + Co. Lovely prints in amazing colors like dusty pink, teal and neon peach. Cushions, lightning and "big dot" throws. Designer and founder Emma Cleine's latest collection is called Terrazzo and is inspired by the patterns, colors and textures of art & architecture.. enjoy! x Christine – House of C

Even tough - in my part of the world - spring has kicked in, a super cool blanket is always a yes! Just came across Norwegian brand Røros Tweed and love the diversity of prints and colors on their plaids.. working together with different Scandinavian designers like Anderssen & Voll (also designers for Muuto) makes this happen. Røros Tweed has been around since 1940 and their designs are made of wool from Norwegian sheep.. pure, environmental-friendly and just plain gorgeous! Have a great easter monday! x Christine - House of C
