Hi All... sorry to be a bit late in getting on-line again...and many thanks for all your emails... my responses will be a bit delayed...but by early next week I will respond... just arrived in the Netherlands with my family for vacation...great to see family and friends again...and currently on a brief get-away with my husband in Amsterdam.... celebrating the Queen's mother birthday... sort of a big thing here in the low-lands ...everybody gets out on the street dressed in orange... truly a great national party... let's hope it doesn't rain all day...think we have the best seats in the house though.... checked in to Miauw Miauw suites... overlooking the canals...will show you some pics later this week...

Just to make you curious...next month (yes tomorrow!)  will be a special month on Bloesem... Bloesem goes on a world tour...that's all I can say for now...the tour starts on 1 2 May....hope to see you tomorrow!

All the beautiful artwork in this post is from the very talented Anna Emilia...an artist from Finland...I love the details and colors in her work...Anna works on a commission basis...unfortunately no shop to show you but a beautiful website...she wrote me an email about a short break  she is taking to think about her future... I hope this future involves making more of these beautiful prints and make them available via an online shop, but for now you can ask her a question via her email if you are interested in commissioned work by her....

Hadley Hutton

Hadleyhutton
Via Artstream I discovered the beautiful artwork by Hadley Hutton. Hadley from Portland works as a freelance illustrator, artist, and children’s book author / illustrator...that Hadley drawes inspiration from Asian patterns and motifs for her beautiful artwork clearly shows and her philosophy: "Less is more. {Art supplies are the exception to this rule.}".

Ludovik Boden

Ludovikboden_2
Just discovered these stunning bronze sculptures called the "Colonies" by Ludovik Boden over at DearAda. Ludovik says that with the "Colonies" series he is aiming to explore some of the broader aspects of the landscape we find ourselves in...more information right here...

Ana Ventura

Anaventura
Today is Ana Ventura's Day...I'm showing her amazing art work on both my blogs...the art, prints and things she makes are suitable for all ages and fit in any room of your house...and I think I'm her biggest fan! I was just scrolling to her website to see if she had any new prints available and then I discovered her astonishing 'Cut and Paste' series...
Anaventura_proces
What I totally appreciate about Ana's shop is that she is showing the procedure of how her artwork came together as well...it makes it so much livelier and interesting for me...and here you can find her inspiring blog.

Elisabeth Lecourt

Elisabethlecourt
Yesterday over at the always inspiring blog, Labour of Heart, I saw this incredible work by Elisabeth Lecourt. These clothes are made out of maps from Paris, New york, London and other places, of course you can't wear them, but hanging them as art on your wall would be great, wouldn't it! Elisabeth Lecourt is a French art student living in England... click here to see her website...

Levitate/Sväva

Levitate
I can't stop thinking of Elisabeth and Mav's new art prject, Levitate/Sväva...it's just too beautiful!  Levitate/Sväva is made up of three entirely different pieces (sold separately) featuring Mav's photographs paired with drawings by Swedish artist Elisabeth Dunker. These drawings were made just for these photographs and then Mav silk-screened them on top creating an entirely new image. This is a very small edition of 10 of each (only 5 are available for sale) so they are extremely special and available here...and I received my first copy of Lines&Shapes...and i LOVE it!!!
