Do you remember me writing about Louise Roe ... well the same agency who represents them also introduced me to Hagedornhagen. A company from Denmark founded by Mads Hagedorn-Olsen and Anders Morell Hagen, both renowned photographers who have many awards to their credit.
Insects always made me shiver ... guess living in Asia makes you more aware of these fellow planet members... but to be honest the highly detailed photographs by Hagedornhagen make me apreciate their beauty a whole lot better.
Result: I like the new Insect trend!

It is always a pleasure for me to start with something from the Netherlands on Mondays. For you who follow Bloesem for a couple of years already know that I am a big fan of the work by Studio Maarten Kolk & Guus Kusters. Waterloop, Avifauna and By Guus have all been featured in the past.
During Dutch Design Week 2012 Maarten en Guus decided to set up a selection of their latest work in their own house. An intimate and private show ... unfortunatley the show is over but we can still enjoy the images they took. [MORE IMAGES]
'Onszelf' = 'Ourself' from the Netherlands just launched a new collection. Designers Astrid Nieuwenburg and Claudia Drübe again knew how to create four fun, bright and interesting wallpapers that will cheer up every home. The 'brocante't doors above are my favorite ... which one would you choose? [MORE IMAGES]
