Do what you love with the ones you love. Hello! Paul Roden and Valerie Lueth of Tugboat Printshop. This husband and wife team provides original woodblock prints out of their workshop in Pittburg, PA. These very detailed illustrations are drawn, chiseled and carved 100% by hand. WOW. A lot of work goes out to just one illustration, that might take up to 5 or more woodblocks. Here's a brief step by step process on their website. Impressive right? Thanks for keeping this art form alive guys. Do you have a favorite print? I believe the yellow jellyfish is unavailable, that would be my favorite.
