... that mean the most!
... a present from a dear friend, who knows what I like, she took the time to find this special 'little' vase that means the world to me... ! Thank You. I feel humbled to know you, you are special and you have made a 'little' dream of mine come true today ... the Pollo Vase is now living on my shelf and everytime I look at it it will remind me of you and how unbelievably generous, warm and thoughtful you are!
Tapio Wirkkala designed the Pollo porcelain vase in 1970, which is included in the Rosenthal Studio Line Collection. Tapio Wirkkala can be described as one of the icons of Finnish design and a symbol of the international success of postwar Finnish design. A couple of years back mentioned him in my Vintage Ceramics Read
My friend, Marjolein who bought the vase at Modern Relics for me runs a wonderful blog called GoMarjo. Here she writes about her personal travel experiences... Marrakesh, New York, Brussels, Italy, Copenhagen and more... super travel tips you can always use.
Oh Lili's what lovely things you have. I was thoroughly enjoying my visit, and it felt like each item had been hand selected. I always like to feel that way when I am shopping, to see that the items purchased are ones that the owner themselves fell in love with. Judging by the about us page, that is exactly what Lili's wants you to feel.
You can find those wonderful geometric pillows here. If you are interested in the cups, you can find them here.
You can find a sweet collection of cards here.
Who says plants don't need their very own sweaters? You can find those here.

I expected the lady behind Dutch brand HomemadeHappiness, appracadabra and ozowiezo, to live in a beautiful, personal and interesting home, but I was truly very happily surprised when seeing her amazing home this morning right here. So much character, originality and style. Perhaps the collection vintage embroidered birds on the wall above are my favorite. The house is featured this month in one of the Netherlands leading magazines for kids, called Kek Mama. Enjoy the inspiration... quick question, what do you like best in Diana's home?

Artwork like this is so very welcome in my house!!
Ali Noble lives and works in Sydney and he likes Neon details just as much as I do :)

&Tradition from Copenhagen is one of my favorite design companies. With designers like Arne Jacobsen, Benjamin Hubert, Kai Linke and Verner Panton in their house you can only assume how many nice things their collection carries.
Today I want to highlight the Topan VP6 haning lamp designed by Verner Panton. The beautiful black matte with golden inside is my favorite but the lamp comes in many different colors. I found the beautiful images of this loft were the lamp is featured at the website of &Tradition but were made by NORM architects. ...more about them real soon :) ... more pictures >>>
