Daphne Westland's show-home on IJburg Amsterdam
Last week I received an email from Daphne Westland from Studio Enter about a recent interior design project she just finished: 'solid 18', a show-home on IJburg, one of Amsterdam's new and trendy neighborhoods.
Together with Christel van Calsteren, furniture maker Jeroen Mooten (Daphne's husband) and photographer Ben from Studio Aandacht, Daphne transformed this what first looked like a rectengular box into a warm and a (modern) home. Personal touches were added by using a unique mix of relative affordable furniture (secondhand shops, IKEA, HEMA, thrift shops and some design pieces. If you would like to see more work by Daphne then click here for her website.

Black wall, wood side board and ribbon lamp, the same as in my house, love this lamp design, what a shame about Habitat closing down their stores, I am so sad to see it going I hope they keep the shop online running and a few old shops.

@Rozalinde: in hout uitvoering zijn ze bij de karwei te krijgen.

Heel mooi! En dan weer van die platen/boeken/schilderijen 'riggels' aan de muur. Iemand een tip waar ik zoiets in hout kan vinden? -x- Rozalinde
