Amsterdam

...it was just wonderful being back in Amsterdam last Friday...although we only had one afternoon to walk around with my husband and baby Kiet we were very happy to see our old neighborhood looking fantastic. I hadn't been in two years, but it didn't feel like that at all, not much had changed (not even the weather...rain, rain and sun-shines later on). I have made a lot of pictures and planning to write a small tour for you real soon. I will walk you around in the Jordaan and share my favorite spots with you. Hopefully life this week ...:)

Wish we were back living in the Netherlands! It was a beautiful place and this is an amazing photo of your happiness. Looking forward to seeing more!

Kiet! I heard that name when I was pregnant with my son, Jasper, and adorrred it. It was foreign to us so nobody else went for it, but I tried really hard! You too are incredibly cute. A blondie like mine! Check out my blog www.manmadesole.blogspot.com

I love my birthplace Amsterdam! Especially the Jordaan area!

Oh, Amsterdam! Ben er al jaren niet meer geweest! Ik moet daar toch eens weer naartoe. Leuke fotos.

Groetjes, Maja

It looks so lovely & you and baby Kiet look so joyful! I am very much looking forward to more wonderful photos. :)

Oh that certainly brings back a lot of memories!
I lived on the Korte Prinsengracht, just minutes away from where your pictures were taken, for six years, while I was studying in Amsterdam!

Maybe I should go back some day soon... it looks fantastic indeed!

*hearts*
& enjoy being 'back home'!
