win a set of cards from the HEMA

HEMA...My uber favourite shop! I am one of the lucky designers who work for this famous Dutch store. Let me explain what kind of brand HEMA is. HEMA is a Dutch warehouse since 1926 and sells all kinds of products; fashion, living & food. The collection looks fresh, special and simpel and stands for low prices without loosing a good quality. A concept, which I think, is great. HEMA has more then 500 shops in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France… and is expanding more and more abroad.
At the moment HEMA is having a design contest for students, you can help choose the winner by voting online for the best new design.

Voor mij is top 't ontwerp g ;Nostalgie,omdat mijn moeder 50 jaar terug op zo'n manier al extra valuta meenam als zij met vakantie ging...

I miss HEMA now that we're back in the U.S.! I've voted for the fabulous green bike rack and hope to see it in the stores next time I'm in NL.

I Absoutely love HEMA, my mom always calls me a HEMA child, sinds I was born my mom always bought stuff for me @ Hema's. And even now most of the stuff in my house comes from Hema!
If I have to choose the most original designer product from the contest it would be the "Stokbroodjes" abolutely my fovorite especialy for the summer!

I was born in Holland, but have lived in Australia since I was 3. Whenever a Dutch relative comes to visit I always BEG for a set of Hema tea towels. They're the best, long-lasting and lovely designs. I especially love my most recent one *sniff* *sob* with the Dutch flag on it...

We were just in Den Haag, went to Hema and got some very tasteful "Hup Holland Hup" tshirts with a very sweet lion on them to wear watching the World Cup.

Mijn HEMA favoriet is de agenda met metalen ringband die ik ieder jaar weer koop. Stevig, duidelijk, geen futsels en fratsels en toch SUPERFIJN!
En ja, die rookworst is ook heel erg jammie, de tandpasta goed en goedkoop en het ondergoed voor kids helemaal prima. Kaarten koop ik er eigenlijk nooit maar dat komt omdat ik die het allerliefste bij Unicef koop omdat je er dan ook een goed doel mee steunt. Maar winnen wil ik ze natuurlijk heel graag!

What I really like is the cards offered as the giveaway because the scherenschnitte style cut out letters hanging from the swag effect completely inspire me to do my own cutting in that style. I'd love to have the cards to sit in front of me on my workdesk to inspire me daily. Overall, I like the clean, clean lines of hema merchandise. Gaaf blog heb je!! Als ik met niet zo fijn voel ga ik altijd graag naar de Hema, wordt ik blij van! Ik ben dol op alle papier spullen, van blocnotes tot pennen, tapes en natuurlijk kaarten. Nu het nieuwe schooljaar voor de deur staat zijn er weer allemaal nieuwe spulletjes, heerlijk. Ik werk allang maar vrolijke spullen zijn altijd welkom. Je hebt nooit genoeg blocnotes ;-) of kaarten!!

when i visited amsterdam, hema was such a great place to go to! we could find everything we needed there. :) my favorite thing i bought was a little journal with a silver typewriter on the front of it! and the brownies...mmm.

Wij komen zeer regelmatig bij de Hema. Altijd goede spullen voor normale bedragen. Bijv. kinderkleding, speelgoed, ondergoed, etc. Mijn favoriet is op dit moment de koffiebekers. Vele kleuren verkrijgbaar en de kleuren worden telkens aangevuld, zoals nu ORANJE.

I love Hema! I always have to uy something when i get there. My fave item is a Yellow tin can with Jip and Janneke on it. My friends gave it to me when I was still in high school, so it's about 15 years old now. Its's on my workspace now with pens in it.

To quote that book on emigration 'Ik mis alleen de HEMA...'. Every trip back to the Netherlands results in a suitcase full of HEMA children clothes, bed linen, toys, sweets and cookies, and, since I started postcrossing, postcards! So please count me in in the postcard give away!

I too love love love Hema we often fill up the car with all sorts of goods.
one of our last purchases were two very funky round cushions for our garden seats. I also love the pens and stationary and everything in fact.

HEMA is helemaal mijn winkel!!! Geweldig voor van alles en nog wat: kaarten, cadeaupapier, kinderspullen, ondergoed, make-up, woonspulletjes. Maar vooral de stationary afdeling is geweldig!!! Administratie bijhouden is geen leuk karwei, maar met de spulletjes van de HEMA is het een stuk minder erg.
Graag doe ik mee met de Give Away.

I'm a sucker for dutch bikes, so I'd have to go with the 'oma' bike, luxe omafiets Nexus-3.

Hema is gewoon geweldig. Ik vind al de nieuwe spulletjes voor de zomer leuk en vooral de hangers voor kaarsen die je buiten kan hangen, heb er meteen een hele boel gekocht samen met leuke kinderspeelgedjes.
Eigenlijk is heel de shop onweerstaanbaar maarjah ;-)

I loved the children's bikes!! Especially the red one - omafiets 24 inch. The baby clothes are so cute too, love the little pants. My sister is over in the Netherlands right now, I'll have to tell her to find a store!!
