I would never expect to find inspirational images like these at a website like this, but I'm glad I did!
Both the black floor and black kitchen are something I keep in mind... thanks Lotta for sharing.
I've got black floorboards.. DON"T DO IT! They look amazing for the first 3 minutes after cleaning, then every single speck of dust shows up. Nightmare - especially with kids!!

Thanks for the link. Aren't they great? It's a swedish company that makes doors for Ikea kitchens and warderobes.

I think they look fantastic - and if you were using a realy simple palette spiced up with a few jewel colours it'd really pop!

My friend has black floor boards too - they look amazing, although she says they are a pain to keep clean (due to footprints showing up).
