The Marion House Book
It was the first time this morning that I visited The Marion House Book, but will certainly not my last visit. The author of this great new blog is Emma and she lives in my old town Toronto. I really liked these before and after images of her kitchen...might have something to do with painting our home ourselves last weekend :) I wasn't sure about black and bought a very dark green color but looking at the black convinced me that black is definitely an option for another wall. Thanks Emma for sharing these images of your beautiful kitchen with us!

Read your article! You write very good it! I would like to further exchange with you next! I hope you agree!

I love that slate wall. I'd like to pain a wall like that if I ever had a room flooded with light.

What a lovely surprise to return from a trip and see this post.
Thank you Bloesem! I am relatively new to the blogosphere and appreciate your kind words!

Fantastic. We're thinking of doing a black kitchen wall next weekend. I keep wimping out to a dark gray but I think it's go black or go home... :)

Wow - wij zaten er ook al aan te denken om een van onze keuekenwanden zwart/anthraciet te verven: Nu ben ik overtuigd - Het contrast is veel mooier!

Lovely. Toronto is my hometown and I go back every summer. Interestingly both my sister in law and girlfriend who both did kitchen reno's (in Toronto) have the same flooring.
