Very happy to show you the beautiful home of Nicolette Brunklaus today ...
DesignHome UnRaveled :: answers by Nicolette Brunklaus
Dutch:: is...having the ability to think beyond our historical values, and to mix old with new.
Entrance:: when entering my home you will notice our dog coming from the forrest (curtains) to welcome me home.
Style:: means...Integrity and Personality.
Inspiration:: comes from...the past, often memories, but also from every form of art.
Gourmet:: is...being with friends and family sharing personal interests over diner.
Hobby:: I always make time for...visiting exhibitions and the art-section at a bookstore and of course my work.
Make:: I start creating when...My mind and studio are completely cleared.
Outfit:: my favorite thing to wear is...At the moment my Daryl van Wouw skirt.
Enjoy:: I can't live without...I don't easily get attached to things. If I go camping in the summer I always find that you can live with so little, but on the other hand I cannot live without good company to surround me.
The beautiful images were taken by Sturla Bakken, a Norwegian photographer for BoBedre.
................Thank You Nicolette Brunklaus......................
Nicolette Brunklaus is one of those Dutch designers that really know how to translate a daring idea into a design that works in multiple surroundings ... her prints are bold and strong but integrate perfectly in many different interior styles ... for her collection 'cycle of life' she was inspired by memories of the past and the way all objects surrounding us have their own cycle of life ... she used many images to create a funky line of interior products, this puf is my favorite, if you would like to see all please click here...

wow! love the forest graphics on the fabric; white walls; pops of color displayed in the furniture & the chandelier graphic on the shade...clever!

I love the blue and yellow walls! I want that yellow color on my backdoor. It's sunny, but doesn't hurt your eyes. Perfect. Any chance you recall the color/brand?

I love love love LOVE that ottoman. I think it is the coolest thing I have seen all day.
And those shadow boxes that have cutlery- Is that like an xray light/art/shelf? Very cool- I am always looking for creative ways to represent my husbands intrest (or profession) into our home design. Lovely. All of it.
