DesignHome Wood&Wool Stool UnRaveled :: answers by Ingrid Jansen
Dutch:: is? straightforward, no frills and orange of course
Entrance:: when entering my home you will notice? my home is kind of bohemian, not exactly one style but a collection of personal belongings gathered through the years. I like it when a home is growing and never actually is finished. Color, wood and a mix of old, vintage and new furniture is what you will find in my home (and there's always some wool or crochet around) The oak herringbone floor is the perfect base for everything in the living and kitchen.Style:: means? a reflection of what you are and it has to be real and personal
Inspiration:: comes from? everywhere you just have to open your eyes; a walk in the city, interior magazines, creative people and my workplace at Villa Augustus in Dordrecht, where I work a few days a week.
Gourmet:: is a lovely meal with fresh food and good company is the best way to enjoy life. as the average women I love chocolate, it has to be dark from at least 70%
New:: in my home are some second hand vases I bought in Stockholm a few weeks ago.
Hobby:: I always make time for...I love to read, run and crochet. All three things are a kind of medition to me. In the summer I like to drive around in my old 2cv wiht the roof all wrapped up. The car is about 25 years old is a bit rusty and needs a renovation but still is so charming.
Outfit:: my favorite thing to wear is? it
really depends on my mood. sometimes I like a feminine dress or skirt
with high heels and sometimes a skinny with an old sweat or t shirt. I
love wool.
Make:: I start creating when? when I was a little girl. I used to change my room ever other week when I was 8 years old and have a big interest in interior as long as I can remember. I made my own clothing and furniture when I grew older and never stop painting things a different color.
Enjoy:: I can't live without? My family, flowers, traveling and my camera.
{ps.the lovely print on the small table is from Dutch artist Ninainvorm...available right here}
.........Thank you Ingrid Jansen from WoodWoolStool........
Ingrid Jansen made her first recycled wooden stool with a crocheted cover for her own home, when hearing the super positive reactions and requests she decided to make custom-made stools for others too...and that's were it all started, soon her business started to grow and expand and I believe that many of you nowadays already heard about her fantastic label Wood&Wool Stool...pillows, blankets, garlands, frames and trees...please have a look here...
