SORRY .. JELTJE JANMAAT ASKED ME TO REMOVE THE IMAGE :: TO MUCH CONFUSION WHO THE PHOTOGRAPHER BEHIND THE IMAGE WAS...
This gorgeous image by talented Dutch photographer Jeltje ... sorry should have been Paul Barbera of course ... reminded me this morning of my idea to create a space for a swing too ... although I won't be asking my husband to hang one inside, ours will be hanging outside, I like it very much how the owners of this home have done it here...

We have a swing in our childrens playroom - with a bit of organising (and it needs a *lot*) its a great idea, and their little friends love it.

It is not matter of taking other wise but it is definition of creativity... Nice post thanks for sharing with us..

I'm wandering if the swing needs something like brackets or it's possible to secure it simply at the ceiling. I want it!

my husband said me:
oh no it's too boring to hang on it at home!!
i'm going to ask him again...

Love the swing, nice to just sit on and read a book, look out the window. Nicely done.

We have a swing in our home, a wooden one like this but from IKEA. It is THE favorite spot for my sons and their playmates!

i love the idea of the swing.. would need open space to do it.. wouldn't want to be knocking things down with every swing.. nevertheless good idea.

There are still some homes in India where people have swings in their living rooms. I like it!

I've had a swing in my house for about 20 years and it adds so much on so many levels. Calms my grandson down, makes everyone smile, gives me a new perspective when I'm creatively stuck. I also have a boat hanging from the ceiling which eventually, while swinging, everyone wants to touch with their toes.

That would be fantastic! One day I will have a place that could contain this, one day...

oh... I love it! I've been meaning to hang a swing up in our living room for a year now... I think I'm inspired enough now to go out, buy one, and actually do it!
