...okay I'm officially on a sabbatical ... but when I saw the images of these amazing fabrics designed by Santiago, Chile, based textile designer Karen Barbé I immediately missed my dear Bloesem ... so this morning a new post, hope you like the link as much as I do!

...and this is what Karen made from the gorgeous tiles ... I'm not sure if you can buy the textile/fabric anywhere, will send an email to Karen and let you know....finds like these make me realize how much I love blogging!

It is very nice of you to share your article to bloggers. I found that your article is so constructive and full with life wisdom. You must be a really mature guy!

those are gorgeous!!!

L O V E everything about these gorgeous block prints, and the colors would be so good on my bed!

Beautiful fabric. I wish I could sew now.

Oh! I love those colours - the pale pink and pale blue and the pretty design - gorgeous!

They are indeed very very pretty. And for sale I saw on an other site of Karen Barbe: http://www.karenbarbe.cl/2009/07/cubreplumones-azulejos.html. It's only in Spanish...

gorgeous work. the quilt/comforter photo makes me want to curl up with a good book, so serene.

Thanks for taking a break from your sabbatical to share these lovely tiles! Good luck with the move!

Thanks for sharing these wonderful colors and photos.I am looking forward to the pictures of your new home, but first...enjoy your sabbatical

What beautiful fabric. Please let us know if it can be purchased. I am itching to make a fab quilt for my daughter out of that fabric. Love it! Thanks for sharing.

Simply Divine! You might never get out from underneath that comforter, it's so pretty!

I think a sabbatical means the freedom to post only if you really want to, which is fantastic! These fabrics are lovely!

very beautiful

I love the beautiful work and the pretty, comfy looking quilts and pillows
