Not only do I love all Sandra Juto's prints and illustration work, but I also LOVE this amazing chrochet blanket by her ... I'm soooo jealous, wish I could make this too! Yesterday evening I started with my first chrochet project ... a cotton pillow cover, I find it not so easy to do as knitting, but very relaxing, hope one day i can show you the result!

Handmade buckets

Threepotatofour_bloesem

I don't know why but I really like the handmade buckets or baskets that pop up more frequently in blogland lately ... I already have a couple at home from Bookhou and use them for all sorts of things, our keys, baby stuff, pencills and even some kitchen items ... these great Burlap ones made by Mayamade and available over at ThreePotatoFour are also on my wishlist!

And how cute are these from DownHomeAmy, very handy for little snacks or as decorating material for a party or a romantic picnic! They are avalialbel in Amy's etsy shop.

And these are the ones from Bookhou that are already living in our house, actually the flower basket is sitting right next to me as we speak....

Livstycket1
"When you educate women, you educate the whole world". Livstycket  (bodice) is a non-profit organization from Stockholm whose premier goal is to educate and integrate. They mostly work with weaving, textile printing and sewing ... this pattern, “Hela livet i en väska”, is a couple of years old but I think it's worth a reminder. The bags are drawn by women with a history of escaping persecution and they symbolize how fleeing limits your possessions to the contents of but one bag.” ... you can find more about Livstycket right here.
