Alex Hellum

I was really happy to read about Alex Hellum's beautiful work in the Elle decoration UK during the Holiday break ... this Norwegian-born genius has just launched his furniture brand and keeps on working as a designer for esteemed manufacturers, creating products and furniture for brands including Heal's, Thorsten Van Elten and Ercol....Alex works from his studio in Hertford, UK.

The new furniture collection by Alex Hellum is truly my kind of style ... for example the 'Vic open plywood chair' is timeless and would fit with any dining-table ... and the 'peg chair' will make every entrance look special ... over at BloesemKids I'm showing some of his children's furniture, including a fantastic little horse chair ... and all his designs can be found here on his website including manufacturing and selling information.

LOVELY!! This is totally the North European, cool, simple but sophisticated style I really, really like. I think being Dutch has something to do with that :)
