d.lab™ from Singapore

When Charlene wrote a fantastic report for us about Singapore I suddenly remembered some images I had seen in the wallpaper about some very talented designers from Singapore ... d.lab™ is part of the Design Incubation Centre, which is the National University of Singapore....and during the Maison et Objet in Paris this group presented their first collectionObjects Around the Tablescape - and they are stunning! A round bowl with a teak case, some gorgeous plates, which you can layer on top of each other  and 'Idea of a Vase'...a set of 10 vase shaped blocks in a frame...looks like a puzzle of vases...as I could read from the article, prices are a bit out of my range, but would you like to get some information, just send and email to d.lab™.

On my search for new bedding I also stopped by 2Modern and found these amazing sheets and pillows from Inhabitat. I think the white with brown stipes will fit perfectly in our bedroom, because I want to keep it simple but not too plain.
and speaking of 2Modern...i want to give a little bit extra attention to this great shop, because not only can you buy some of my favorite items, like the Panthella from Louis Poulsen for very very reasonable prices...I also think owner and founder Greg should get a 'thank you', because he was one of the first who really helped and sponsored Bloesem and makes it possible for me to spend so much time in spreading the word for many artists, crafters and designers...

Atelier Baraque

Rik (my  sweet husband) and I were discussing new bedding yesterday evening,  right now we have some plain white ikea bedding and I think it's time to upgrade a little bit...so  I went to some online shops that  I like and found this gorgeous bedding for example from Atelier Baraque, a design trio from Montreal, which website I couldn't find, but the funky online shop, Chocosho still sells it, right here...
