Limekitchen
I was just writing a post on B:Kids about Olli&Lime, a very nice design studio from the UK selling bedroom furnishings for kids...on Karin and Andy's blog I found an image of a new kitchen in their house...and thought I share it with you...the fresh lime, or I would call it apple green and the concrete counter top really looks very beautiful in my opinion...{ps. aircon still isn't working, so I moved my desk and computer to our bedroom, which will make my husband very happy tonight..???}

Do you acknowledge that it is correct time to get the credit loans, which would make your dreams come true.

love it!!! xx cat

LOVE green! Love those concrete counters! If I had a loft I think I would like to have them installed... a dream loft... aah... sigh!

I love that combination- flat industrial raw concrete and shiny mossy/green apple green. i dream of being able to design my own kitchen some day! good luck with the office in the bedroom! ;)

This is great! I love the color combo and the textures are perfect together.

Thanks, Heather, for the tips.

Thanks for posting Irene (and on B:Kids). Just a bit more info on this...

We had the concrete worktop cast in-situ around a plywood frame by a local builder.

This is a cheap(ish) option for anyone that knows a 'builder-come-carpenter', but if you go to a specialist the cost can be huge.

We love the result and it's so nice to see that other people do too :-)

We have a green kitchen too. It's pretty much the same colour as this - not quite what we intended at the time, but now we like it lots!

I hope your aircon gets fixed really, really soon!

Oh I love this!! That's it. I'm just going to have to find out more about these concrete benchtops now!
