...yes the World Tour continues...twice a month on Friday a report will be brought to you by a a special guest...I'm extremely happy with this new feature, because traveling is such a great part of my life and I strongly believe that you learn so much from seeing other places, being introduced to new cultures and meet people from all over the world...and because it's not possible to physically visit all the places in the world, I hope with this Tour we can make the world a little smaller and get some impressions of what is happening at the other side of the world...
Amy from Kuala Lumpur, Yes she also lives here... but unlike me Amy really is from Malaysia and has been living here for a very long time..then you probably think why not a report from Kuala Lumpur...well Amy is currently staying with a friend in Kyoto an she really wanted to share some images of that, according to her, great city...most of you probably know Amy from her blog re:makeables, but she became really famous in blogland from her new blog Pikkaland, a super place were mainly illustrators get a chance to show their work...but now back to Kyoto, click here to view Amy's photo's and read her information...the full Report

oh my god... I really love your blog and I really hate this world tour, I'm sorry. Yeah, it was a good idea, but something is wrong... I don't know what... It looks like I adore only YOUR finds and photos that YOU have chosen.

Bloesem, I just love this idea. These images are stunning, and Amy really gave a sense of what her city is like. I especially liked the image of the bicycles, and the one of the doorknob. Oh, and that map/illustration is precious! As an avid traveler (with not enough time) I'm really looking forward to more of these guest blogs. Thanks so much for sharing!

This has really made me long to visit Kyoto again... we were due to go in March for our honeymoon, but I broke my ankle very badly in December and am still recovering. We're planning to take our honeymoon in December now... and, not wanting to wish my life away, it can't come soon enough!!!

Kyoto is one of my favorite places I've ever visited. I wish I had this guide when I was there. Such a nice overview.

Kyoto is a great place to explore the Japanese cultures, the old shrines, the traditional tea house plus lots of Japanese ladies wearing kimonos on street and they were all very nice to let you take photos! A MUST and enjoyable place for vacations! But remember to sleep in the traditional Japanese inn!
